Start a delicious and rewarding hobby today. Biscuit has bees to share, contact us to reserve a starter hive (called a NUC) of gentle stock. Our bees are a hardy mix breed; productive, disease and pest resistance, and not prone to swarming. Email us for details!
Swarming is how honey bees find a new home, but sometimes they decide to co-op our homes, cars, and structures in the process. While swarms tend to move on after a brief rest, sometimes the bees chose to stay. Contact us to help find them a more appropriate home!
For those with existing hives and in need of queens: our bees are a hardy mix breed; productive, disease and pest resistance, and not prone to swarming. Email us for details!
Contact us at info@biscuitsbees.com or @biscuitsbees on Instagram to get the address to our self service stands or the upcoming local events in the Atlanta Metro Area.
We do not currently ship our honey, and only sell at our self service stands or the local events in the Atlanta Metro Area.
Contact us at info@biscuitsbees.com to place an order. Our NUCs are $180, including a ProNUC box and five drawn choice frames. Our queens are $40, come mated and marked. We currently only sell NUCs and queens on pre-order. We recommend placing orders in early Spring for current season or during the Fall/Winter for next year's season.
You can start beekeeping with as little as a veil, gloves, and a hive tool. Most people tend to start their journey by finding a local beekeeping club, mentor, or learning through books, YouTube, and other sources. Next step is generally to get a starter hive of bees either as a Package (loose bees sold by weight) or a NUC (a small established hive).
While swarms tend to move on after a brief rest, sometimes the bees chose to stay. Do not approach swarming bees, while swarmed bees are typically not aggressive, they may sting if they feel threatened or are disturbed. Contact us at info@biscuitsbees.com to help find them a new home. We cannot guarantee that we can help you, but we may be able to offer you a referral to other beekeepers in the area.
Contact us at info@biscuitsbees.com or @biscuitsbees on Instagram to discuss pricing, servicing, and getting your hives established.
We offer mentorship and assistance included with any purchase of a NUC to help new beekeepers get off the ground. Contact us at info@biscuitsbees.com or @biscuitsbees on Instagram to discuss pricing on group classes.
